Conformable Polypropylene Labels
DuraLabel polypropylene labels provide a number of useful characteristics that result in polypropylene labels being a better labeling alternative to vinyl in some circumstances.
Polypropylene labels are very flexible. This allows the label to conform to variations in the underlying surface. Should labels bubble or pull free at some spots, this introduces a point of initial failure. For longest label life the label needs to be adhered to the underlying surface at every point. The flexibility of polypropylene labels allows this on uneven surfaces.
Polypropylene labels are also highly moisture resistant, providing greater live in both indoor and outdoor high moisture environments. Polypropylene labels are also resistant to chemical solvents, bases and acids.
DuraLabel's innovation and advanced technology continues to provide more choices in labeling supplies. DuraLabel is the only brand with more than 50 types of labeling supplies available. This means you can always get the right supply to get the job done right.
DuraLabel polypropylene labels are the right supply when you have uneven surfaces - such as bumpy, cracked, or surfaces on which the heads of small bolts are located were labels are needed. DuraLabel polypropylene labels will conform to the irregularities in the surface to provide a strong, durable bond between the label and underlying surface.
Call 1-888-326-9244 today and ask about DuraLabel polypropylene labels. You'll be glad you did.

Innovations Improve The DuraLabel 9000 Sign Printer
The DuraLabel 9000 custom sign printer is a fantastic sign printer -- the best in its class. But that doesn't mean the DuraLabel engineers are not looking for ways to make it even a more useful and productive sign printer. And they've done it!
DuraLabel has announce the release of the new MPS-150T. This is a Mobile Print Station designed specifically for the DuraLabel 9000 sign printer. It mounts on the side of the printer and becomes an integral part of the printer.
What is a Mobile Print Station? DuraLabel invented the first Mobile Print Station (MPS) over five years ago. An MPS replaces the computer used to run a label or sign printer. It provides the processor, memory, software, drivers, symbols library and templates used to design and print labels. Unlike a laptop computer, an MPS is specifically designed to run DuraLabel printers. There is no set up required. No configuration is required. You don't need assistance from your IT department. You don't need to connect it to your network. Just connect it to your DuraLabel printer and start making labels.
The MPS-150T is designed specifically for the DuraLabel 9000 sign printer. It makes the DL9000 independent of your IT department. Plus you can put the DL9000 on a cart and take it any place signs or large labels are needed. You can print glow-in-the-dark wayfinding signs, or over-sized arc flash warning labels. The MPS-150T can handle all of your sign making and large format labeling needs.
Call DuraLabel today at 1-888-326-9244 and speak with your representative today. Ask them about sign making kits that include a printer and the MPS-150T. You'll get great savings and have a sign printer that saves you time and money, and eliminates problems. Call today, you'll be glad you did.

Getting The Right Label Printer
Just buying from the same vendor year after year, because that's what you've always done, is not always the best thing for your business. Yes, evaluating a new vendor takes time and a commitment of resources. But it can be worth it in lower costs and improved quality and service.
Lower costs? When it comes to making custom labels and signs your greatest costs are going to be in the labor to make the labels, and it lost time when something goes wrong. That's where DuraLabel saves you hours and money.
DuraLabel printers are so simple in their design that they are not only incredibly reliable, they are incredibly easy-to-use. Plus their high speed means you don't waste time waiting around for labels to print.
DuraLabel expert customer service is also incredibly fast, you get the answers you need ASAP, and there are no service contracts. Existing customers always receive free support. Why is this important. Because most people only use a label printer a few times a year, maybe during a turnaround or an annual inspection. When labels are needed, they are needed NOW! Between those times the label printer sits on a shelf waiting for the next burst of activity. It's easy to forget how to use the label printer or lose the instal disk needed to connect it with another computer. With DuraLabel that's not a problem. DuraLabel printers are easy-to-use, the first time and every time. And if you need help, such as needing a replace CD, just pick up your phone and call the DuraLabel toll-free number. You'll get immediate expert help.
Plus with DuraLabel you get the most productive, most versatile label printers on the market. There is so much DuraLabel label printers can do that there is no need to leave them on a shelve. Put your DuraLabel printer on a cart and move it to wherever labels and signs are needed. Or get the battery powered, fully standalone DuraLabel TORO -- the four inch label printer that's ready to print labels any place any time.
Call 1-888-326-9244 today and ask about special DuraLabel kits. You'll be glad you did.

It's A New Year. Have You Inspected Your Pipe Markers?
Labels made with DuraLabel printers are so long-lasting and durable that we can forget they are there. But even DuraLabel labels need to be inspected on a regular basis. Here's what to look for:
1. Be sure pipe markers are in place in every location required by ANSI A13.1. There should be a pipe marker every 50 feet on straight runs of pipe. You should see a pipe marker on both sides of any penetrations, including penetrations through walls and floors. You should be able to identify the contents and flow direction from any location. For example, if some equipment is obscuring a pipe marker, another pipe marker should be installed even if the distance between pipe markers is less than 50 feet.
Pipe markers should also be located next to valves, flanges and Tee's.
2. Look for pipe markers that may be missing due to maintenance work. For example, if lagging was replaced the pipe markers may not have been replaced.
3. All pipe markers should be readable. Any that are dirty should be cleaned. This may be as simple as brushing dust off, or it may require using a cleaning solution. DuraLabel pipe markers are resistant to most cleaning solutions, but it's always a good idea to test the cleaning solution in the shop before using it on an installed pipe marker.
4. Look for pipe markers with corners that are starting to come loose. The corner is typically the first place label adhesive will fail. Depending on the environment even DuraLabel pipe markers may eventually need replacement. Cutting off corners that have come loose, in a rounded shape, works as a temporary repair by reducing the area exposed to air (which can dry out the adhesive).
Make a note of locations in which pipe marker corners are coming loose. This allows for replacement of pipe markers at a convenient time before they fail further. You may also want to evaluate the area and environment in which the pipe markers are located to determine if a different material might be better suited for making the pipe markers used in this area.
The general rule of thumb is that the pipe contents and flow should be easy to identify from any location and situation. If that's not the case, then changes to your pipe marking program should be made.
If you have questions about pipe marking, or need to find the right material for a special pipe marking application (low temperatures, rusty pipes, harsh environments, oily locations, etc.) give DuraLabel a call at 1-888-326-9244. With more than 50 types of advanced technology supplies available, DuraLabel always has the right pipe marking materials.
